Cedric Hartman is renowned among the foremost designers of contemporary lighting and furnishings. His custom-made luminaires, several of which are in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art, employ metal components that are impeccably fabricated by hand. This design aesthetic extends also to his collection of tables, upholstered pieces and architectural fittings.
CLAY MCLAURIN STUDIO
Clay MacLaurin established Clay McLaurin Studio in 2013. The business grew from a belief that the environment we live in should be a reflection of your own life and experiences. For Clay, this meant bringing his personal discoveries and explorations to life: travel, nature and history are all hallmarks of his collection of fabrics and wallcoverings that reflect sense of relaxation and ease.
Allison Kettlewell is a New York City-based textile designer who was born and raised in rural Ohio. She balances her love of both city and country life--and her appreciation of nature, artisanal crafts and antique textiles informs her personal aesthetic and is reflected in the design of her textiles. Much of her inspiration comes from special items collected during her travels around the world.
Indian-born Seema Krish is known for her ‘modern traditional’ textile aesthetic - contemporary designs that are combined with traditional textile-making techniques. Living between the cultures of the East and West inspires her unique visual vocabulary and the distinctive artisanal textiles in her eponymous line. Founded in 2010, the company's mission is to enhance the lives of the users and producers of her products - simple, beautiful and luxurious textiles that are also environmentally and socially conscious.
SURFACES BY DAVID BONK
Located in San Francisco since 1988, Surfaces by David Bonk specializes in custom hand painted wall coverings for the interior design trade. Used all over the world in private residences, department stores, and the finest resort hotels, the Surfaces line encompasses a wide array of patterns, from traditional to contemporary. Colors are both subtle and bold, with many of the designs utilizing metallic or pearl finishes, reminiscent of aggregate minerals or fine silks.
Inspiration, artistry and innovation combine in Weitzner's award-winning designs. Developed through hand drawing, painting and sculpture, the patterns make use of unusual materials and cutting edge manufacturing techniques. A collaboration with worldwide partners - from hand weavers to state of the art mills - yields the uniquely beautiful fabric and wallcoverings in the Weitzner line.
